Bahrain National Day - 16 December :)
The streets are busy, people are out preparing for tommorow (and shopping for eid), everyone is in a good mood, the buildings are adorned with lights, the streets filled with signs and flags, there are decorations up everywhere in preparation for tommorow; i've taken some photos to bring you a feeling of the atmosphere around here:

Happy national day neighbors!
Last nite I took my children around to see Manama...we were in traffic in front of a particularly nice lighted area so my son rolled down his window to take a pic with his mobile....a jeep pulled up just then next to us and the windows were practically black from tint....the window on our side rolled down and a very stuck up bahraini girl verbally attacked my son claiming he was trying to taker her pic....being a mom i was rather ticked off at her for yelling at my innocent son like that....but it all was rather funny actually. He was sitting there with a completely "what the hecks going on" look on his face....her windows were black so how could he see her to take her pic....and she had enough makeup and decoration on to tell me that she did indeed want to be looked at...so why the fuss?
Anyhow, ob done they drove away....and we laughed ourselves silly for a good half hour after that....Happy National Day everyone
