Freezing in Bahrain

It was announced a few days ago; on the 1st of February, which means tonight, Bahrain is going to get a REALLY cold; expect lots of wind, exceptionally low temperatures, and plenty of snow (ok, one of those isn't true).

I noticed it driving back home today evening; the wind speeds have started to increase, and in my garden, there are leaves on the ground all over the place. Hmm.

Extra blanket, anyone?

  10. Had a meeting in Juffair last nite...was really good weather when we went inside...a few hours later we get out and could barely hold on to our hair it was soooo windy....it was rather humorous watching the Bahraini men clinging on tol their guthras...and women trying in vain to keep their abayas or skirts from exposing all....had a nice little snack of sand though...kind of gritty but I will consider part of my fiber for the day...lol.

yeah, the weather is changing. I went to sleep yesterday & even in the bedroom it smelled of sand!! It was weird & suffocating. That's how it is in Bahrain, it all happens suddenly.
