Puzzle - 2

Since you guys enjoyed the last one, and since Captain Arabs' weekend is already ruined, there's no harm in posting a second one. Anyhow; rules again:

- If you already heard this one before and know the answer, DON'T POST IT! Don't ruin the fun for everyone else.

- You can ask questions about the puzzle, but i'm only going to answer them with YES or NO (or NOT RELEVANT if the answer won't affect the puzzle).

- Oh, and no cheating searching for the answer online. That's just lame.

It is a dark and stormy night. A man comes home to find his cat curled up in front of a cozy fire, dead. How did the cat die? (Btw, the cat was not burnt to death)

Did the man kill the cat?

  6. No.

Heres a tip to make this easier. Read through the actual puzzle; focus on every word, there might be some clues in there, then ask questions about those that can pin-point you to the answer.

Well cats a re allergic to water , so I guess the cat had a hard time in the storm , so as soon as it got back home it curled up near the fire place so as to stay warm .

Unfortunately for the cat it was too late .

  17. The collar, after being wet, have shrunk around the cat's neck as it dried, effectively, killing it.

  18. sunshine, dead rat; no

    sunshine, suffocate; yes

coolioo; youre partly correct, the cat was in the storm and came in to stay warm. but she didnt die because she was allergic to water.

I think you have enough clues to work it out, read through all the previous questions/clues and put them together ;)

  19. oh there you go manaf, you answered it the same time i posted that. yup, congrats :) thats the right answer.

cat was outside in the storm and got wet. came back in to stay warm near the fire. the collar was made of leather, so as she dried out, the collar shrank and got tighter around her neck, suffocating her.

    well done guys

I don't usually moderate comments, but recently i've been getting a ton of "buy viagra" "check out this search site" "buy casino chips online" related comment spam, so the moderation is back on. Don't take it personally.
