- If you already heard this one before and know the answer, DON'T POST IT! Don't ruin the fun for everyone else.
- You can ask questions about the puzzle, but i'm only going to answer them with YES or NO (or NOT RELEVANT if the answer won't affect the puzzle).
- Oh, and no cheating searching for the answer online. That's just lame.
It is a dark and stormy night. A man comes home to find his cat curled up in front of a cozy fire, dead. How did the cat die? (Btw, the cat was not burnt to death)
Of old age.
ReplyDeletegood guess, but not the right answer. next?
ReplyDeleteI got over the last one Ammar..
ReplyDeleteDid the cat just naturally?
haha, ok if you say so :)
ReplyDeleteNo, not naturally
Did the man kill the cat?
ReplyDeleteNo.
ReplyDeleteHeres a tip to make this easier. Read through the actual puzzle; focus on every word, there might be some clues in there, then ask questions about those that can pin-point you to the answer.
Hmm... Does the storm have anything to do with the cats death?
ReplyDeletedid the cat have a coller on
ReplyDeletedynamic and henry
ReplyDeleteboth, yes ;)
getting close...
lightning hit the cat and electrified it thro its collar?
ReplyDeleteThe cat died of loneliness XD
ReplyDeleteeeem... no and no..
ReplyDeletethink outside the box?
was the cat outside during the storm?.
ReplyDeleteyes...
ReplyDeleteit ate a dead rat and got food poisoned?
ReplyDeleteignor me im just stabbing in the dark..
ReplyDeleteokk we we did this in class my teacher always said check ur assumptions.. so its the guys cat, and its dead..
it wasnt burnt, or shocked by lightening, or die a natural death..
did it suffocate?
Well cats a re allergic to water , so I guess the cat had a hard time in the storm , so as soon as it got back home it curled up near the fire place so as to stay warm .
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately for the cat it was too late .
The collar, after being wet, have shrunk around the cat's neck as it dried, effectively, killing it.
ReplyDeletesunshine, dead rat; no
ReplyDeletesunshine, suffocate; yes
coolioo; youre partly correct, the cat was in the storm and came in to stay warm. but she didnt die because she was allergic to water.
I think you have enough clues to work it out, read through all the previous questions/clues and put them together ;)
oh there you go manaf, you answered it the same time i posted that. yup, congrats :) thats the right answer.
ReplyDeletecat was outside in the storm and got wet. came back in to stay warm near the fire. the collar was made of leather, so as she dried out, the collar shrank and got tighter around her neck, suffocating her.
well done guys
uhhh maybe the cat died after the fumes of the "cozy" fire got to it?
ReplyDeletedude, they already answered. you dont need to guess anymore
ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeletewell the last comment I saw at the time I was answering was manaf's.
